Linocut - Limited Edition.
The softness of linoleum as a printing material is a drawback in linocut technique: even with slight pressure from a manual printing press, the linoleum slightly deforms. Therefore, large print runs in linocut are impossible. This drawback defined the limited series of linocuts "The Thirteenth Apostle". Each linocut is unique because linoleum, unlike solid wood, is soft and pliable, thus making each impression unique. In addition, handmade paper was used for each impression, and each sheet has an individual structure, color, composition, and thickness.
