The Last Ship – the master’s final painting
The painting “The Last Ship” was begun by the artist before leaving this world. The ship of the great master sailed to its final home. And there is only one gangway from the ship. Year of creation: 2021.

In a month I will turn 75, and on the side wall of the shed I wrote this message... This is my message to my loved ones and friends. Three little birds of hope watch over my ship, but the ship’s mast is already broken, and on the torn sail is the GREAT poem by Marina Tsvetaeva (in my English interpretation).

The Artist’s Last Painting
It remained fixed on the easel in the artist’s studio. This painting is a premonition of the end of the earthly journey. Started in 2021, six months before his death. A premonition that he would soon depart.
The ship has reached a new home, there is no sail, and the mast has turned into a cross. The ship has run into the door of its final refuge, where, after passing through the red judgment, it will find peace. And the red line along the starboard side is like a gangway. There is no other way from the ship.
